Crynodeb
Responsibilities: Conduct a range of CBCT scans adhering to DHC, Local, Regional, and National Guidelines. Exercise personal and professional autonomy, making critical clinical judgments using your knowledge, skills, and experience. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company/Trust policies. Greet and explain scanning procedures to patients in a pleasant and professional manner. Enter accurate patient data and assist patients safely. Ensure patient dignity and confidentiality. Coordinate with clinic/hospital teams and address service-related issues and queries. Complete end-of-day reports and upload images to PACS. Support scanner maintenance and report stock requirements. Support in the training of other radiographers as required. Adhere to Health and Safety Policies and assist in incident/complaint investigations. Requirements: We require either a HCPC-registered radiographer or GDC-registered dental nurse with radiography certificate. Proficiency in Radiographic techniques. Familiarity with contra-indications for scanning. Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrated understanding of patient care, health & safety, and continuous professional development (CPD) requirements. Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
