Hourly Rate: £12.60
General Overview:
The post holder shall be responsible for the delivery of the housekeeping services within the Q-Parks car park at the Mailbox in Birmingham.
The primary purpose of the role is to directly responsibility for the delivery of the housekeeping services within the Q-Park car park at Mailbox. The post holder will work closely with the Night Duty Manager and receive guidance from the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure that the contract deliverables are achieved and that exceptional standards are achieved.
The post holder will be responsible to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Duty Manager of the day.
Impact:§ Responsible for the exceptional delivery of reactive and planned housekeeping activities with the Q-Parks Car Park at Mailbox
§ To deliver a “best in class” service ensuring housekeeping standards exceed client and occupier expectations
§ Ability to work on planned and reactive tasks unsupervised ensuring a proactive and productive approach to all work is maintained
§ To report safety observations in line with management KPI's
§ Complete pre-use inspections on all equipment prior to use and escalate any defects to the Night Duty Manager
§ To support providing information for Monthly site reports
· To be aware and conscious of the Mailbox's Energy Management System
· To assist with the implementation of Mailbox's net zero pathway
· To engage with Social Values and Sustainability Calendar for site, constantly evolving based on key learnings and to lead on social value sustainability initiatives
· Responsible for adhering to all task risk assessments, local operating procedures, and task cards
· Maintain accurate documentation and MITIE HR processes
· To ensure through point of work inspections all Mitie's SSOW are always followed
· Participate with the Mailbox's safety culture by directing, managing, and escalating unsafe working practices
· To actively undertake additional training where instructed
· To provide emergency support in delivering the Mailbox fire evacuation strategy and/or any other emergency
· Work towards completing new qualifications aligned to current and new responsibilities
· Demonstrate a clear awareness of environmental impact and actively seek ways to reduce waste
§ To ensure you adhere to all processes and procedures laid out by management
§ To attend all training organised by Management as required
§ Adhere to the Mailbox security procedures and regulations set out by management.
§ To be adequately trained and confident in dealing with all emergencies related procedures including building safety, fire, and bomb threat evacuations.
§ Adhere to all QSHE related procedures, reporting any relevant risks, near misses, accidents, or incidents to the relevant person
§ Consistently deliver on performance, maintaining high levels of standards at all times
§ Working smartly, adding value in all that you do at every opportunity
§ To carry out administrative duties when required
§ Always adhere to our company policies and procedures
§ To challenge and identify any opportunities for improvement where applicable

Qualifications or Required Experience:
Essential:
Professional experience and knowledge acquired through previous experience in a housekeeping role. To provide the highest level of customer service ensuring consistently high housekeeping standards for all customers, visitors, and occupiers.
§ Ability to follow instructions and exceed expectations when it comes to attention to detail
§ Ability to work independently, remaining focused and motivated
§ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate
§ Confidence to report safety and other concerns
