KS3 RE Coordinator – to start September 2026
Salary: Main Professional Grade (MPS/UPS) + TLR 2a (£3,527)
Closing Date: Midnight Sunday 8th March 2026
Interview Date: TBC
We are looking for a KS3 RE Coordinator to join our dynamic Humanities team in a school that offers excellent opportunities for professional development. Ada Lovelace is one of four Twyford Trust schools, a successful multi academy Trust based in the Borough of Ealing. We offer comprehensive CPD, exciting development pathways and strong promotion prospects for our teachers.
The successful candidate will be joining an innovative and ambitious department that seeks to deliver an outstanding, knowledge rich RE curriculum at Key Stage 3. Our students are highly motivated to succeed, and their progress is closely monitored through half termly assessments. As a team, we work collaboratively to design a curriculum that inspires curiosity, fosters critical thinking and ensures sustained progress through strong subject knowledge and ambitious outcomes.
This role will suit an individual who is passionate about philosophy and theology, who enjoys exploring these subjects deeply and sharing that enthusiasm with students. You should be caring and committed to helping young people flourish, and enjoy working with motivated, driven students who are eager to succeed.
At Ada Lovelace High School, we place a strong emphasis on valuing staff time and supporting professional growth. Our approach is designed to help teachers thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Students finish early on Fridays, giving staff dedicated time for high-quality CPD every Friday afternoon. This ensures that professional development is embedded into the working week. Our commitment to staff wellbeing goes hand in hand with our ambition for excellence, with a centralised academic curriculum alongside shared pastoral systems and resources.
We provide opportunities for colleagues to deepen subject knowledge, engage in research, and undertake further qualifications such as National Professional Qualifications (NPQs). Our CPD programme is comprehensive and forward-thinking, ensuring staff remain up to date with the latest developments in pedagogy and curriculum design.
At Ada Lovelace, we believe the biggest impact happens when we work together as a team. Team culture is central to everything we do, and we regularly remind ourselves that “we are all developing teachers.” Collaboration, consistency, and shared learning are at the heart of our approach.
We offer:
• Exceptional professional development and career progression
• Positive working relationships at all levels
• A supportive Leadership Team
• Opportunities to gain experience within four different Trust schools with a shared commitment to collaboration
The successful candidate will have:
• A good degree and Qualified Teacher Status
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
• The ability to inspire and motivate students across the ability range
• A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
• A reflective approach and drive for continuous improvement
• A commitment to the ethos and values of the school
