Female Support Worker
Area: Sidmouth EX10
Salary: Days £ 15.50
Hours: Mixture of daytime hours
We are looking for a female support worker for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury, he lives in his wife in his own home.
He loves to go out and about into the community, and has a love of football, so someone who could share this interest with him would be an advantage, he is looking for someone to accompany him on short breaks away and someone with a calm and caring nature, a full clean drivers licence is essential
Section 7(2b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies that there is a genuine occupational requirement for female staff for these positions

Experience in care work or a willingness to learn
Full UK driving licence required
To work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
Emotional support
General household tasks
Personal care
Attending appointments
Accompany on short breaks and holidays
Medication administration
All aspects of care and daily living
Support out in the community
Clinical interventions as required , full training and ongoing support is provided by our clinical team
