You will join as an Event Coordinator who values organisation, creativity, collaboration, and pride in delivering seamless guest experiences. Supporting the Sales team, you will coordinate conferences, private events and hotel-led experiences, ensuring every detail is accurate and professionally managed from enquiry to handover. Key Responsibilities
• Support the achievement of the hotel’s sales budget
• Coordinate weekly function sheet meetings with accuracy and clarity
• Convert conference and private event enquiries, managing details through to handover
• Create and manage a diary of hotel-led events to drive local engagement
• Deliver engaging show rounds to prospective clients
• Manage all event correspondence and system data with high attention to detail
• Upsell guest-enhancing options while protecting profitability
• Monitor market and competitor activity
• Support social media activity aligned with events
Person Specification
• Experience in event coordination, conference sales or hospitality preferred
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence in upselling
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive and adaptable approach to changing business needs
