Overview of the Role:

The purpose of the role is to ensure all labouring works on site are completed to high standards and to assist where necessary, as directed by the Site Manager. This position is suited to a Multi Skilled Operative or General Operative with a proactive approach to supporting site operations across a variety of tasks.

The Role Includes:

• Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy, with bins and skips clearly signposted, filled, and emptied correctly
• Deliver and collect materials as required, ensuring the van remains roadworthy at all times
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Support trades and site teams with general labouring and multi-skilled tasks as needed
• Assist with basic maintenance, repairs, and site setup duties

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working to tight deadlines
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and good practice
• Valid CSCS card

Experience & Skills:

• Experience in construction or similar environments (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Experience with fault reporting and hazard identification (including MHE)
• Computer literate
• Understanding of site waste management procedures
• Flexibility to carry out a range of general and multi-skilled tasks

Must be willing to travel and ocassionally work nights
