We are currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing network of IT specialists, supporting mission-critical cloud environments for UK-based organisations.
Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to automate deployments, enhance reliability, and strengthen security across production environments.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working close to live systems, improving infrastructure performance, and driving continuous improvement across cloud-native environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure within AWS environments
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (or similar tools)
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable secure and efficient deployments
Manage and optimise containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices to improve observability
Support production releases, incident response, and root cause analysis
Enhance cloud security through best-practice configuration and access controls
Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to deliver iterative improvements
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application layers
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups)
