An exciting opportunity has risen to work within the Therapies Department at Basildon Hospital to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
You will provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area including; Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Dietitians, ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. this will include cancellation and reinstating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.
Your role is to support the clinical team and clinical managers in ensuring the speciality are able to deliver safe and effective services.

Good telephone communication skills especially dealing with patients, doctors, nursing and midwifery teams and outside agencies.
