School Cleaning Supervisor - Exeter - Immediate Start
Hours: 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday during School Term (some cover required)
Pay Rate: £14 - £14.45 per hour based on experience

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure the school premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to meet high standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional with leadership skills who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the daily activities of the cleaning team
- Create and manage cleaning schedules and task allocations
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections
- Manage cleaning supplies and stock control
- Provide training and guidance to team members
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Liaise with site management regarding maintenance issues
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards
A DBS Enhanced check will be required - Acorn by Synergie will support with this.
