We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a Transport & Allowances Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.22 per hour
Summary:
The Transport & Allowances Officer is a varied and hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to manage recruitment processes from application through to onboarding. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
Organising both Agency and PCC Passenger Assistant recruitment processes.
Coordinating interviews and managing all relevant recruitment documentation.
Uploading candidate documentation and monitoring progress from application through to commencement.
Liaising with prospective candidates and responding to recruitment enquiries.
Supporting successful applicants in completing required onboarding paperwork.
Travelling across the Plymouth area to distribute recruitment information and materials.
Essentials:
Previous recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
Full clean UK driving licence.
Access to a vehicle for travel across the Plymouth area.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office packages.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires a Basic DBS
