- Collaborate with the site team to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating digger machinery, particularly 5 to 14-ton machines.
- CPCS certification is preferred, but NPORS-certified candidates will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day
- Begin each day with a safety briefing and equipment inspection.
- Operate the digger to excavate foundations and trenches as directed by the site supervisor.
- Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machinery at the end of each shift.
- Ensure the worksite is left in a safe and tidy condition.
