What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Media Studies Teacher to join our friendly, supportive Creative Arts Faculty. Candidates should have prior knowledge of the subject area and experience with Photoshop but we are happy to train suitable candidates who have transferable skills from other subjects such as English and Photography, and who are keen to teach Media Studies at GCSE level.
We have a purpose built digital photography studio, a large number of SLR cameras and three computer suites with the latest Adobe software. Our Artist in Residence works closely with the department supporting in lessons and running workshops.
If you are a dynamic, outstanding and inspirational teacher with a real passion for your subject and believes you can make a difference and contribute to our success, we would like to hear from you.
Initial discussions with Lauren Avery, Director of Creative Arts are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the school.
