Receptionist & Administrator • 25hrs across 3 ½ days. Start time 8.30am
• Permanent, 39 weeks per year (term time) + 1 day during school holidays
• Salary: Surrey Pay Grade 3, FTE £24,331 per annum, actual salary £14536Role overview• Reception cover, providing a friendly welcome to all visitors and deal with any enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
• Daily administration of school attendance and school dinners.
• General day to day administrative support
• First aid to childrenOrganisational relationships • Responsible to: Head & Business Manager Special responsibilities: • Manage payments & records of school dinners through WisePay software, including reporting to SCC
• Maintain Free School Meal (FSM) records, liaising with SCC on behalf of parents and the school
• Record & monitor pupil attendance, ensuring attendance records are kept up to date in line with DfE guidance
• Reporting & sending relevant documents for Fixed Penalty notices to SCCMain duties (including but not limited to) • First point of contact for telephone, face to face and email enquiries
• Ensure safeguarding & security procedures are followed by all visitor & contractors
• Arrange and take receipt for deliveries as required
• Support the maintenance of pupil database (SIMS)
• Support the maintenance of office procedures as required
• Purchase orders & order processing for school supplies
• Liaise with suppliers & service providers
• Support the administration of school clubs, including chasing parents for payment as required
• Administer first aid & medication, assist with pupil welfare and liaise with parents/carers/staff to ensure relevant information is passed on. Maintain accurate first aid & medication recordsSkills required Essential • Able to prioritise and complete routine tasks whilst dealing with distractions
• Experience of working in a busy environment, ideally in a customer facing role
• Good face to face and interpersonal skills with both children, parents & visitors
• Good IT skills and experience, including knowledge of Excel & Word
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to accurately record and maintain routine data
• Educated up to at least GCSE level
• Will maintain strict confidentiality of all students, staff, and school related information in accordance with school policies and data protection regulationsDesirable • Experience of working in a school environment
• Knowledge of SIMS, WisePay & FMS
