Hours: 1.5 per week (Tuesday 7.15am-8.45am), term time only to exclude INSET days (38 weeks)Application Closing Date: Thursday 12th March 2026 - We recommend early application as the school reserves the right to close the advert prior to the stated deadline dateInterview Date: TBCThe RoleAre you looking for a rewarding role in education where you can make a real difference to children’s day before school even begins?Staple Hill Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Breakfast Club Assistant to join our team for 1.5 hours per week (one day per week) on a permanent basis.Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for pupils before the start of the school day.We Are Looking For Someone Who:Is motivated, reliable and able to use their own initiative.Builds positive relationships with children while maintaining professional boundaries and high expectations.Enjoys facilitating play and engaging children in activities.Communicates confidently with parents and staff.Is willing to complete safeguarding training and always treats children with dignity and respect.Has a good sense of humour and enjoys working as part of a team. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
