About the Role:
We're looking for an SEN Teacher to deliver personalised, high‑quality learning to a young student with complex physical, sensory, and communication needs. This student has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and suspected moderate hearing loss, and they use bilateral hearing aids and glasses. They require close supervision due to challenges with balance, coordination, and motor planning. Their expressive and receptive communication is significantly delayed, and they rely on visual supports, sign language, and objects of reference. The student benefits from a calm, clutter-free environment, regular sensory breaks, and a highly structured, multi-sensory curriculum. You will play a key role in supporting their communication, emotional regulation, early learning, play, and motor skills within a safe and nurturing home setting.

Benefits:

  • Weekly PAYE pay
  • Competitive rates + holiday pay
  • Pension scheme
  • Refer‑a‑friend bonus
  • Ongoing training
  • Dedicated consultant support
  • Great work-life balance

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, positive learning environment
  • Deliver tailored lessons based on individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with families
  • Provide engaging, supportive teaching
  • Model positive behaviour and values
  • Complete tuition reports and communication

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent (e.g., PGCE)
  • 2+ years' EYFS teaching experience
  • Ability to teach Literacy and Numeracy, and provide a Play-based Curriculum
  • Strong SEN experience
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service + right to work in the UK
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
