Work alongside the resuscitation & outreach team to deliver education within the trustregarding resuscitation, using up to date ERC guidelines.Ensure that mandatory training (Trust matrix) is delivered to specified staff groups,appropriate to level of understanding.Work alongside the resuscitation & outreach team delivering Resuscitation Council (UK)courses to trust staff and staff from outside organisations, adhering to RC rules andregulations, upholding a high standard of education.Assist and help with the delivery of RC courses, (ILS, pILS, ALS and re-certificationcourses) as requested and appropriate to ability.Assist with the delivery of other training regarding resuscitation issues (ie Nursing assistants,use of new resuscitation equipment) to appropriate staff.Ensure that ward / department staff are aware of emergency equipment, through teachingand educational packages.Assist with other service providers as requested with educational packages using own skillsand expertise (i.e. AIMS course).Maintain continued professional development by regular teaching on all relevant in house andoutside courses, as agreed with manager.Ensure that all training within resuscitation services is entered onto the trusts OLM databaseAssist with disseminating information to all relevant staff, regarding the ReSPECT plan, resuscitation status policy and Do Not Attempt CPR protocols (i.e. during Induction etc).
