Role

The role supports the Flight Centre Brand (FCB) centralised pricing strategies across Air, Hotel and other travel products where relevant to deliver both turnover and profit growth. As part of the FCB Global Pricing & Revenue Optimization (PRO) Team, the Revenue Manager role is responsible for executing revenue strategies for FCB in the UK based out of London and supporting FCB RSA centralised pricing requirements. This role requires strong commercial acumen, a disciplined pricing governance framework and extensive knowledge of Air distribution systems (Amadeus &NDC) as well as other product platforms and pricing tools to execute pricing decisions and create performance reporting and insight-led recommendations.

  • Execute revenue and pricing strategies via Pricing tools (Amadeus, NDC, Hotel Platforms tools)
  • Conduct and document system and pricing rule testing (e.g. GDS, TPC, pricing tools), ensuring accuracy and control prior to release.
  • Existing rules are audited, validated, and refined to ensure ongoing alignment with agreed revenue strategies.
  • Deliver revenue performance reporting, including clear insights, commentary, and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and escalate pricing risks, anomalies, or margin leakage.
  • Partner with Air Contracting, Regional Product, Marketing, Merchandising, and Commercial teams to align execution with strategy.
  • Ensure pricing remains competitive, commercially optimised, and governance-compliant across key routes and products.
  • Collaborate with the Global PRO team to share best practices and share learnings across GDS and Product distribution platforms

Key Competencies

  • Strong capability to work independently and take ownership of pricing decisions end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Air Fare Knowledge, Pricing Logic, and Revenue Levers.
  • Commercial judgement with the confidence to challenge assumptions and escalate issues when needed.
  • Strong analytical thinking: ability to drill down to root cause and translate data into actions.
  • High attention to detail with Audit Discipline.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Executive teams including Operational Leadership, Marketing, Product and Supply Procurement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills (clear, insight-led, stakeholder-ready).
  • Results-focused, proactive, and comfortable operating in a self-starter environment

Skills and Capabilities

  • Advance knowledge of Amadeus
  • Advance airfare knowledge
  • Intermediate to Advance skills on various pricing tools (Amadeus Fare Expert & Margin Manager)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for pricing analysis, testing, and reporting
  • Ability to producing performance reporting and strategic insights
  • Ability to document, test, and govern pricing changes in a live commercial environment

Experience:

  • 10+ years travel industry experience
  • 5+ years experience as a senior travel consultant or airfare expert
  • Min Bachelor's degree (Tourism or Business)
