SALARY: £40,000 to £48,000 per annum (plus Free Parking, Pension)

LOCATION: Working from the office in Reading 3 Days per Week and 2 Days in the field covering your territory (Berkshire and Home Counties)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join a well-established organisation operating within the agricultural and fencing supplies sector.

As a Key Account Manager you will focus on B2B sales, account management and relationship management, developing long-term partnerships with key clients while identifying opportunities for business growth and revenue targets.

The Key Account Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, support pipeline management and ensure outstanding customer service across a hybrid working pattern in Berkshire.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Key Account Manager include:

• Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

• Business Development: Identify new opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth and maximise sales potential

• Client Needs Analysis: Assess customer requirements and provide tailored solutions aligned to their operational needs

• Sales Negotiation: Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure favourable commercial terms

• Pipeline Management: Manage sales activity, forecasts and account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support

• Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication, addressing queries and resolving concerns promptly

• Market Insight: Monitor industry trends within the agricultural and fencing sectors to identify growth opportunities


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in account management, B2B sales or client relationship management

• Previous experience within the agricultural and/or fencing sectors

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and manage commercial discussions

• Experience of pipeline management and achieving revenue targets

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

• A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple client accounts
