Summary

Location: Cardiff, CF24 2BY
Shifts: Full time 36 hours per week (based on a Monday to Sunday on a rota)
Payrate: £12.60 - £12.90 per hour
Sponsorship: We do not provide sponsorship for this role
Social Care Wales: You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our 29-bed nursing home in Cardiff, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Neurological conditions, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injury.

Role Overview:
You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Neurological conditions, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired Brain Injury
You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives
You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs
You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music. And get out for movie nights and food outings
You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene
You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support
