Summary

About Dimensions

At Dimensions, we support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live great lives. As one of the UK's largest not-for-profit providers, our vision is simple: every person we support should have choice, control, and the opportunity to live thriving, fulfilling lives — with outcomes that genuinely matter to them.

Whether you're starting your career, returning to work, or looking for a role with real impact — you'll be welcomed, supported, and valued here.

About the Role

- Support Worker

- Colchester, Essex, CO3

- Full time - 37.5 hours per week (Days)

- £12.64 per hour

We are looking for Support Workers to join our friendly supported living home in Stanway, near to Colchester Zoo, where four men (aged approx. 45-65) live independently with tailored support. You'll be joining a lively and active home where each person enjoys a rich and varied routine. The gentlemen love getting involved in sports and social clubs, going out for karaoke, dancing, and visiting the pub. They also spend time at local day centres and take part in interests that help build their confidence. Two of the men have part-time jobs, and all four place great importance on staying connected with their families, who are highly involved in their lives.

Support needs vary across the home, two of the gentlemen are extremely independent, while the other two require additional support. This includes full personal care, along with confident and reliable medication administration; one gentleman needs medication every three hours, as well as support with tablets and attending hospital appointments. They also benefit from help with meal preparation and weight-management routines.
