Excellent communication skills are essential—you will be able to explain technical or sensitive information clearly to a variety of audiences and confidently represent the service at challenging internal and external meetings.
You will be an effective leader who can motivate, support and develop a team through change, while also managing budgets, making sound decisions, and balancing competing priorities. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are key, enabling you to take a strategic, big‑picture view and connect ideas across different areas of transport.
