The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will operate both barrel (drum mixer) and volumetric concrete trucks, delivering concrete safely and efficiently to customer sites across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Operating barrel and volumetric concrete mixer trucks safely and efficiently
Delivering concrete to construction sites, residential addresses, and commercial premises
Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries in line with customer requirements
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
Cleaning and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard
Completing delivery tickets and relevant paperwork accurately
Providing excellent customer service on-site
Adhering to all road safety, transport, and health & safety regulations
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (essential)
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience operating concrete mixer trucks (barrel and/or volumetric preferred)
Good knowledge of Northamptonshire and surrounding areas
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
Good communication skills and a professional manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
