Logistics Coordinator (059jc) – Central London – Circa £45 – 50k (depending on experience)
This is a hands-on, trusted position suited to a disciplined, reliable individual who thrives on responsibility, routine, and getting things done properly.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
It will particularly appeal to those with experience in orderly roles, mess standards, driving duties, logistics, facilities management, or operational support. If you are used to high standards, clear routines, immaculate presentation, and delivering calm, professional support under time pressure, you will feel at home here.
This role combines workplace operations in a professional London environment with practical support to a senior executive at his private residence, including occasional travel overseas. Their office is in Mayfair, and the private residence is in High Holborn.
You will be the person who quietly ensures everything runs smoothly without fuss, without drama, and without needing to be asked twice.
What Success Looks Like
You will be successful if, day after day:
• The workplace is organised, professional, and inspection ready.
• Lunch arrangements are punctual, well-presented, and consistently delivered to a high standard.
• Maintenance and facilities issues are spotted early and resolved properly.
• Movements, driving duties, and errands are handled safely, punctually, and discreetly.
• Colleagues trust you as the person who simply “gets it done”.
Core Responsibilities
• Maintain a tidy, professional working environment (meeting rooms, kitchen areas, supplies, daily readiness).
• Oversee facilities and maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors and ensuring work is completed properly.
• Manage stock, deliveries, and supplies so the workplace remains fully operational and presentable at all times.
• Carry out practical tasks and minor fixes with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Maintain clear checklists and routines to ensure consistency, even during busy periods.
• Provide safe, professional driving support for the principal daily.
• Run errands and complete practical tasks efficiently and discreetly.
• Uphold high standards of conduct and presentation at all times.
Requirements
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Full UK passport is required, but holding an EU passport would also highly recommended.
• Flexibility around working hours.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods (up to 3 months per year in Europe).
Skills & Experience
Background
Military experience is highly valued, particularly in:
• Orderly or batman duties
• Mess standards or facilities oversight
• Driving roles
• Logistics or operational support
Applicants from other structured, high-standard environments are also welcome.
Knowledge & Skills
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining “inspection-ready” standards.
• Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable using everyday IT tools (email, calendar, spreadsheets, messaging apps).
• Confident driving in London and abroad.
• Organised, punctual, and disciplined in approach.
Personal Qualities
• Pride in service delivery — doing things properly, even when no one is watching.
• Calm and composed under pressure.
• Reliable, resilient, and trustworthy.
• Discreet, professional, and loyal.
• A team player with a “no job too small” attitude.
• Comfortable working independently while aligned with clear expectations and standards.
Why This Role May Suit You
This position offers:
• A stable, long-term opportunity in London.
• Clear expectations and structured responsibilities.
• Meaningful trust and responsibility from day one.
• Competitive salary circa £45–50k + Benefits which include 25 days + Bank Holidays and company pension
• Opportunity to travel in Europe.
• Scope to grow into a broader trusted support role over time, as they see this role as being a stepping stone into a more senior role going forwards depending on your skills, abilities and where you wish to go.
If you value standards, discipline, punctuality, and quiet competence and want a role where those qualities are recognised and relied upon this could be an excellent next step after military service.
