Crynodeb
The Team Leader for Major Trauma and Neuro Rehab for Paediatrics will act as professional leader for this service area at clinical, operational and strategic levels and make sure our contribution to implementing national and local service improvement is well defined and that services have a positive impact on the recovery and health and well-being for children. The post holder will act as Specialist Rehabilitation Lead, ensuring the continued development and maintenance of their clinical and professional skills. The post holder will co-ordinate a specialist team providing a comprehensive Rehabilitation service to Children and Young people who have sustained Major Trauma or Acute Brain Injury. The post holder will be expected to support the team to deliver highly specialist assessments, treatment and evaluation of outcomes to patients. The post holder will be expected to provide multi-professional education and training. To have expert knowledge and skills in the field of Major Trauma care and specialist Neuro-rehabilitation, developing cross professional and organisational boundary working practices and integrating research evidence into practice.
