Summary

Location: Remote (with regular travel in Hampshire & Berkshire area)

Salary: from £30,000 - £35,000 + tax-free bonus + travel expenses

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

Start date: July 2026

At The Opportunity Provider, we’re on a mission to transform lives through exceptional apprenticeship programmes. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Development Coach (Quality Assurer) to support the growth and performance of our Vocational Trainers on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave. This is a remote-based role with regular travel in the Hampshire and Berkshire region (3–4 days per week), focused on enhancing the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and engaging apprenticeship programmes across hospitality, chef, adult care, and early years.

What you’ll be doing:

Coach and Develop Vocational Trainers


Deliver face-to-face and remote coaching, mentoring, and teaching support
Identify trainer development needs and build tailored training plans
Support trainers through structured induction, CPD, and qualifications (e.g. TAQA, Learning and Skills Mentor)
Conduct regular teaching observations, giving actionable feedback to improve learner outcomes


Drive Quality and Compliance


Champion continuous improvement aligned with the Education Inspection Framework
Use quality assurance tools (e.g. e-portfolios, learner data) to identify gaps and underperformance
Work closely with Area Managers and other departments to ensure delivery consistency


Maximise Learning Impact


Design and run upskilling workshops, coaching interventions, and risk-based training sessions
Collaborate with employers during site visits to monitor the quality of apprenticeship delivery
Keep up to date with sector trends and innovation in digital and in-person learning strategies


About You:


Experience in apprenticeship delivery or quality assurance in hospitality, chef, adult care, or early years
A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g. AET or equivalent)
Ideally a Level 4 TAQA qualification (or willingness to work towards – we’ll support you!)
Coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Located to travel regularly across Hampshire & Berkshire
