Location - Children 1st Newark Nursery School by Storal

Address - Muskham Road, Newark NG24 1DP

Salary - Up to £13.30ph depending on experience and qualification

Hours - 40 hours, Monday and Friday or 16 - 24 hours over 2 or 3 days

Qualification - Level 2 or above in Childcare

£500 Welcome incentive

Hi, I’m Sophie, the Nursery Manager at Newark Nursery.

With 10 years of experience in early years education, I began my career as an apprentice and have proudly managed our nursery for the past 6 years. I feel incredibly lucky to lead such a dedicated and passionate team who ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive in our care.

Our nursery is a true home-from-home, with warm, welcoming spaces filled with natural resources that ignite curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Outside, our large garden is a hub of adventure and imagination—featuring a fort, castle, and digger world, offering endless opportunities for play and discovery.

With spacious, thoughtfully designed environments, we provide the perfect setting for children to learn, play, and flourish every day

About the role:

As a Early Years Educator/ Nursery Nurse you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn.  Key activities include:

Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily

Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions

Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About you:

A true love for child development and care

Able and willing to work in a team

Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents

High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity

Role modelling remarkable practice with the intent to support others around you

Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

Early Years qualification at Level 2

Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
