Darlington Borough Council are seeking to recruit a Casual Community Cook. The role involves working our extra care housing schemes across Darlington.



As our Community Cook you work indipendatly supported as part of our wider catering team. You will prepare cook and serve a lunchtime meal for our residents.



The successful candidate will be responsible for.andnbsp;

Preparing and measuring out ingredients according to recipes.
Serving meals, stock control, temperature control, washing up, setting tables, cleaning tables.andnbsp;
Kitchen cleaning and equipment ensuring that a high standard of food hygiene/handling and safe working practices are used at all times.

This is a casual post and will include some weekend work hours can vary weekly according to cover needed.andnbsp;
