Are you an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in a child’s education?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND TA to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school based in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and play a key role in their academic and personal development.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND

  
  

• Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs

  
  

• Implement and support EHCP targets alongside the class teacher and SENCO

  
  

• Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

  
  

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  
  

• Encourage independence and confidence in learning

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Previous experience working with children with SEND

      
      

    • Patient, resilient, and caring approach

      
      

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills

      
      

    • Good understanding of safeguarding procedures

      
      

    • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
