As a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality radiotherapy treatment using advanced techniques like SABR, VMAT and DIBH.You’ll work with an experienced team in a friendly, welcoming environment where your development and well-being matter.
Patients are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for Radiographers who are dedicated to delivering care with both compassion and respect.
The purpose built, modern radiotherapy centre is equipped with cutting-edge technology including Varian TrueBeams (with 6DoF & RGSC) and a Siemens CT GoSim networked by ARIA. We are a multi-site service with centres in Oxford, Milton Keynes and here in Swindon – three sites, one team!
We’re committed to your growth with a solid induction and our Practice Educator team will assist with your professional development opportunities. We strongly encourage all Radiographers to get involved in project, audit and research work. With access to CPD funding for courses and conferences, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.

Work as a member of the team of Radiographers covering all sections of the department including mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring, delivery of a wide range of both simple and complex treatment and IGRT techniques
Support the team leader in the day-to-day management of their assigned pre-treatment or treatment work area, assisting in the organisation and management of the clinical workload.
Liaising with the multidisciplinary team.
Assist with the day-to-day organisation of a treatment unit to ensure an efficient service is delivered and workload targets are achieved.
Supervise, support & teach junior members of staff and students.
