Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young learners in KS1?
We are working with a welcoming infant school in Smethwick seeking a dedicated TA to deliver targeted interventions and provide in-class support, including working closely with high-need SEN pupils. This is a rewarding long-term opportunity to make a real impact during the crucial early stages of a child's education.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver small-group interventions in phonics, reading and maths
- Provide general classroom support across KS1
- Work 1:1 with high-need SEN pupils
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support pupils' academic progress and emotional development
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience supporting children in KS1
- Strong understanding of phonics programmes
- Experience working with SEN, particularly high-need pupils
- A patient, proactive and nurturing approach
- Confidence delivering targeted interventions
