The Opportunity
A well-established secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a Maths Teacher to join their department on a long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is a full teaching role with responsibility for planning, delivery, and assessment across KS3 and KS4, within a structured and supportive environment. The school has clear behaviour expectations and a collaborative Maths department.
The Role
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
- Use assessment to monitor progress and raise attainment
- Maintain strong classroom routines and behaviour management
- Differentiate learning for mixed-ability groups
- Contribute to departmental planning and intervention strategies
What We're Looking For
- QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification (or on track to achieve)
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management
- Ability to commit to a long-term role
- Available to start ASAP
