Crynodeb
Long term Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) position to start as soon as possible, supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), based in Halewood, full time Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities include:
- To provide targeted one-to-one support for pupils with SEMH needs, implementing personalised strategies to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive engagement with learning
- Adapt and scaffold learning activities to meet diverse social, emotional, and academic needs, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported, and able to succeed
- To plan and deliver interventions to support pupils' progress
- Implement consistent behaviour support strategies, using restorative approaches and trauma-informed practice to foster a calm, predictable, and nurturing environment
