We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and technical Managed Services Pre-Sales Architectto join our growing team. You will be a critical link between our sales efforts and technical execution, ensuring that the solutions we provide truly meet our customers' requirements.



The Role



The MS-PSS is a key technical member of the team, acting as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle. You will provide the technical expertise needed to qualify business opportunities and ensure every solution sold is technically viable and robust.

Beyond the sales cycle, you will be a champion for knowledge, coaching the wider sales team and collaborating closely with our Engineering and Projects departments to maintain the highest quality of service.



Key Responsibilities



Technical Sales Support: Provide guidance and technical advice pre-sale to ensure the quality of solutions being sold are technically viable.
Opportunity Qualification: Technically qualify business opportunities, aid in building proposals, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
Knowledge Leadership: Drive product education throughout the sales department by identifying training gaps and supporting sales training sessions.
Customer Engagement: Support the sales team on customer meetings—both virtually and face-to-face—providing technical expertise and advice.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Delivery teams to maximize knowledge and ensure a smooth customer experience.
Market Awareness: Stay industry-aware of new products and solutions which will impact Global 4's ability to sell viable solutions.
Process & ISO Compliance: Adhere to company work instructions, internal CRM processes, and ISO standards for product onboarding.


Required Skills & Competencies



Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering, ideally within an MSP or IT services provider.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, and voice/UC solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Experience designing commercially aligned, technically robust solutions.
Vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA, Sophos, Cisco).
Familiarity with MSP operating models and SLAs.
The ability to convey complex technical information clearly to stakeholders of varying understanding.
Problem Solving skills in identifying key components of a problem and deducing creative, appropriate solutions.
A deep understanding of Managed Services and the ability to keep up-to-date with industry-leading product stacks.
Vendor certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA, Sophos, Cisco). Would be beneficial)
