A lady based in the Blyth area is looking for a kind, supportive Female Personal Assistant to help her as she continues her recovery following a stroke. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s day-to-day life.

Hours: 14 hours per week (flexible and to be agreed)
Rate of Pay: £13.74 per hourThe role is varied and involves both practical support and companionship.About the Role:You will support with:

  • Mobility and encouraging daily physiotherapy exercises.
  • Getting out and about in the local community.
  • Social activities and visiting places of interest.
  • Shopping trips.
  • Attending GP and hospital appointments.
The role requires someone who is physically able to lift a wheelchair in and out of a car.What We’re Looking For:
  • A caring, patient and encouraging nature.
  • Someone reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
  • Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
  • A positive attitude and good sense of humour would be lovely.
You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle and have business insurance in place.Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential — the right personality and approach are just as important. Training can be provided where required.Additional Information:An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant (funded by the employer). Any necessary training, including Health and Safety, will be arranged and must be attended.If you are compassionate, dependable and would enjoy supporting someone to maintain independence and enjoy life, we would love to hear from you.
