Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a reputable franchised dealership? Our client, a prestigious main dealer in Salisbury, is currently looking to hire a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. Duties:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, services, and repairs to vehicle systems according to manufacturer standards
- Ensure vehicles meet safety, reliability, and performance criteria
- Accurately report vehicle condition, faults, and safety concerns to the Service Manager
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with all manufacturer procedures
- Work collaboratively within a friendly workshop team to achieve departmental goals
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and automotive industry regulations
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ideally 1-2 years’ post-qualification experience within a franchise-approved dealership (preferred but not essential)
- Hold a clean UK driving licence with minimal points
- Demonstrate a high level of workmanship within a demanding dealership environment
- Be motivated, committed, and a team player
- Ability to meet targets and work efficiently under pressure
