Housing Assistant
Locations: Staines OR Winchester
Salary: £29,257.00
Contract Type: Fixed Term contract – 11 Months
Hours: Full‑time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
DBS: Basic

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Housing Assistant to join our Customer Support team. If you’re organised, great with people, and passionate about delivering excellent service, this could be a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in housing.
In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and service support to a wide range of teams, helping ensure our customers receive a seamless and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues across Customer Support and other departments.
* Prioritise and manage your workload effectively to meet key deadlines and service expectations.
* Support small projects within the team as requested by the management team.
* Record and update tasks and objectives accurately to support KPI tracking and reporting.
* Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
* Provide general administrative support across Lettings, Income, Case Management, Neighbourhoods, and wider Customer Support areas.
* Keep customer records up to date across relevant IT systems following each contact.
* Respond to queries promptly and resolve issues at first point of contact where possible.

More About You
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C / Level 4 or above
* Experience in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Confident communicator – both verbal and written – with colleagues, customers, and external partners
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) plus familiarity with F&O and Dynamics
