Summary

We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join a Family Help Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years equivalent post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team is responsible for working with vulnerable children who are placed in kinship or family care arrangements and are at risk of family breakdown. These families require intensive intervention to repair relationships and avoid separation. Working proactively and therapeutically, with a child-centred approach to each case is vital to ensure successful intervention. The team pride themselves on their ability to effectively and efficiently make decisions on cases at all stages of crisis intervention.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contracts is essential in order to be considered for this position. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children's frontline safeguarding Social Work team. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential for this role.
