Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified L3 Electrical Engineer for a 3-month temporary contract based within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Kegworth, Derby. This role is critical for ensuring the operational uptime and safety of large-scale automated systems and electrical infrastructure.

Role Overview
  • Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week.

  • Contract Type: Temporary (3-month duration).

  • Location: Kegworth, Derby.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to all electrical systems to meet agreed service levels.

  • Fault Finding: Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve electrical faults in high-pressure warehouse environments.

  • Systems Management: Maintain and understand site plant and systems, ensuring all electrical issues are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.

  • Compliance: Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks in a timely manner, ensuring that comprehensive maintenance records are kept up to date and compliant.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all company and site-specific safety policies.

Requirements
  • Technical Qualification: Must hold a recognized Level 3 Electrical Qualification (C&G 2360 or equivalent).

  • Regulations: Current C&G 18th Edition in Electrical Installations is essential.

  • Testing & Inspection: C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Test and Inspection certificate.

  • Experience: Proven experience working with structured PPM delivery within commercial or industrial settings.

  • Soft Skills: A calm manner with the ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with team members.
