Hours: Full time Contract: Permanent, immediate start available Salary: Band 6 (JM1 £39,152) or Band 7 (JM3 £47,810) We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, exceptional person to provide speech and language therapy to our learners. Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit a Therapist who is adaptable, resilient and has a desire to make a lasting difference to the lives of our learners. Westhaven School is a specialist school, with a unique environment set in the beautiful village of Uphill near Weston-super-Mare, for learners who experience barriers to their learning such as autism. We support young people between the ages of 4 and 18, and offer distinct curriculum pathways to meet their varying needs. Do you have:● Experience in providing engaging therapeutic sessions, where children to learn and develop? ● Experience in implementing personalised learning programmes? ● Experience in providing support for learners who show high anxieties and possible challenging behaviour? ● Experience in providing support to children with non/ pre-verbal communication skills? ● Effective communication skills to work as part of a team? If so, then this position may be the job for you.
