Play is powerful, and at Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue we want every child to experience play that builds confidence, independence and joy. We are looking for a reliable, motivated and child centred Play Worker to help us deliver high quality, inclusive play every day.
As a Play Worker, you will:
Take the lead in creating vibrant, engaging playtimes; supervising a wide variety of activities and championing child led, inclusive play in line with Opal Play principles. With a keen eye for safety and organisation, you’ll help maintain inspiring play spaces and well prepared equipment, while building warm, respectful relationships with pupils and staff. As a key part of our team, you’ll uphold safeguarding, behaviour expectations and academy values, working collaboratively with colleagues across safeguarding and leadership. You’ll also participate in ongoing training, including safeguarding, first aid and professional development, ensuring you continue to grow and thrive in your role.
