Crynodeb
Physical Effort, On occasion, physical effort may be required in the transport of equipment as needed for the role such as physical health screening equipment and Information Technology equipment. Much of the role is seated for documenting and whilst in sessions etc. though some sessions with service users may be walking or playing a sport where appropriate/needed. Mental Effort, Service users present with complex needs which requires sustained mental effort to provide accurate and relevant assessment, formulation and intervention. Emotional Effort You will be required to have regular contact with service users who present with varying needs and difficulties. Consequently, you will use considerable emotional and psychological effort to carry out your duties appropriately. You may be exposed to vicarious trauma and will need regular individual and peer supervision to manage this effectively.
