Crynodeb
Please refer to the attached Job Description and Personal Specification Requirement for the full details for the role requirements. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination and evaluation of service delivery ensuring effective management of human and otherresources. The post holder will also provide the clinical and professional interface with the OT leads working in the above-named services. There will be a close working relationship with all other community services and non-statutory organisations. To communicate specialist information on a range of service development issues within the organisation and across other providers where there maybe resistance to change and where co-operation is required to take developments forward. In addition to managing a small caseload of highly complex patients there will be a particular emphasis on maintaining the patient flow through thesystem and in delivering the objectives of the Health Board. The post holder will provide input to the planning and leadership to implement, develop and evaluate the occupational therapy service. The post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering effective and efficient services to promote independence, avoid hospital admission, reduce bed days and provide services appropriate to meet the needs of the individual. The post holder will form part of the senior leadership group across Occupational therapy, ABUHB.
