We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join the team at DP World, based at the modern and fast-growing SEGRO Park Coventry Gateway site. DP World is a global leader in end to end supply chain solutions and Coventry is home to one of their most advanced, high tech warehouse operations.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be at the heart of this operation working with high value electronic products, using modern equipment, and contributing to a smooth, high performance logistics process. Role of a Warehouse Operative:
- Receive, unload, and check incoming goods against delivery notes
- Store products accurately in designated warehouse areas
- Order picking and packaging, primarily handling electronics, with high accuracy
- Prepare goods for dispatch, including labelling and wrapping
- Operate pump trucks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable duties to support warehouse operations
As a Warehouse Operative, you will need:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Comfortable working with handheld scanning devices and basic IT systems
- Experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations (preferred, but not essential - full training provided)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Any previous MHE experience (e.g. FLT, Counterbalance) would be beneficial
Details:
- Salary: £12.44 per hour
- Location: DP World, SEGRO Park Coventry Gateway, Samaritan Way, Baginton, Coventry, CV8 3BB
- Shifts: 2 week rotating shift:
- Mornings: 06:00 - 14:30
- Afternoons: 14:30 - 23:00
- Start Date: Immediate starts available
