Following our recent recruitment we are now looking for a Finance Manager to oversee and manage the finance function across our charitable and multi-faceted trading activities.

Hours - In the region of 25 hours per week. There will be flexibility on hours and work pattern, to be agreed with the successful candidate.

Pay - starting salary will be commensurate with experience from £38,000 up to £42,000 (pro-rata) for the right candidate.

We introduced the Finance Manager role to strengthen the Charity’s financial management and control systems. The role involves working in partnership with an existing manager to carry responsibility for the management of the Charity’s finances and financial processes. They will also work with the management team to support the implementation of Loch Arthur's medium to long term finance strategy, as well as supporting, managing and developing the wider finance team.

Loch Arthur Community, started in 1984 and includes many interrelated elements; shared living, day-placements, farming and gardening, production, craft and trading activities, fund-raising and much more. There are 80 people living in the community of whom 29 are in supported tenancies and 12 supported day-attenders. In addition, there are more than 80 people employed in various roles throughout the charity.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent organisational skills and a solutions focused mindset. Experience using accounting systems (ideally Sage 200) is essential as is the ability to work in a way that is respectful to Loch Arthur's ethos and values.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship therefore applicants require to have an existing right to work in the UK.
