Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Lead audits and monitoring of Classification Societies/ Recognised Organisations (ROs) and Certifying Authorities (CAs) to ensure compliance with UK and international standards.
Manage delegation agreements and maintain strong relationships with Recognised Organisations and other external bodies.
Represent the UK at high-level international forums, influencing policy and regulatory frameworks.
Provide technical expertise and policy advice to internal and external stakeholders on maritime assurance matters.
Develop and update guidance for external organisations, ensuring alignment with IMO codes and UK legislation.
Mentor and manage team members, fostering professional development and high performance.
Oversee digital systems for risk monitoring and performance analysis of external bodies.
