Come and join our newly created High Dependency Rehabilitation Unit (HDRU) within our trust's wider mental health care provision.
The HDRU for Mental Health provides specialised care prioritising rehabilitation and trauma-informed approaches. Our unit serves as a critical step in the continuum of mental health care, offering a safe, supportive environment where patients can gain a greater understanding of their individual needs, regain functioning and prepare for successful transition into their local communities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Service Manager to shape the future and lead delivery of our service. As a key member of the directorate leadership team, you will have an integral role in managing the day-to-day operations of the service and to work externally with partners both within the NHS and private providers. If you are a strong leader with experience of managing diverse teams and resource to improve patient outcomes, we would love to hear from you. You will need to have a proven track record of accomplishment in service improvement and innovative practice to continue to drive the agenda forward.
You’ll play an active role in shaping our research agenda. We support staff to publish, present at conferences, and collaborate with internal and external research partners.

The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of designated clinical services and ensuring that those teams are performing in terms of patient outcomes, metrics, measures and targets.
They are also accountable for making sure that the Trust’s strategy is executed locally and that standards of safety are maintained at all times.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that is consistent with the values of the organisation.
