A leading manufacturing organisation with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its established Quality team. Your new role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality Department to maintain compliance with key certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IECEx. You will create, implement, and review quality documentation such as Quality Standards, Quality Plans, Inspection Instructions and Calibration Instructions.You will support Goods Inwards Inspection processes, maintain FAI and PPAP activities, and manage systems for customer concessions, deviations, and problem reports. You will also collect and maintain product compliance records (RoHS, REACH, PFAS), review quality metrics and KPIs, and contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.A significant part of your role will involve leading structured problem‑solving activities, including 8D investigations, and acting as a key point of contact for customer quality queries. You will also support Engineering with NPI/NPD activities and provide guidance to Quality Inspectors and Production teams.

What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and ISO certification standards
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
- Ability to train and guide employees on quality assurance procedures and best practices
Desirable:
- Experience within an electronics/PCBA manufacturing environment
- A relevant engineering or quality‑related qualification
- Previous internal auditing experience
