Crynodeb
The Catering Assistant is a key part of the WWT Welney Team delivering an amazing customer service experience for our visitors.
This is a hands on role, primarily working within our catering team and may offer the opportunity to work within our retail and admissions team.
We will provide training and coaching for all aspects of the role and will look for attitude over experience. This is a great opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and make a difference for wetland conservation.
This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays. The casual position, will primarily have hours covering 11.00 -15.00.

Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a busy team or independently
Ability to engage with visitors
Ability to problem solve
Willingness to learn
Previous catering experience is preferred but not essential – successful candidates with no catering background will be given full training to complete their duties to the highest standard.
