Operations Technician
Full-Time | Permanent


Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm


We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Operations Technician to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideally suited to someone with knowledge of Quality Management Systems, experience within the medical device sector, and a positive, flexible approach to work.

Role Overview
The Operations Technician will support production and operational activities while ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP principles, and health & safety standards. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with equipment setup and changeovers prior to job execution
  • Operate production equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow approved operating procedures and GMP principles at all times
  • Accurately complete GMP and production documentation
  • Clean and maintain equipment in line with work instructions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Contribute to waste management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain quality metrics as directed by the functional lead
  • Attend team meetings and participate in cross-functional activities when required
  • Complete all required training and stay current with individual training plans
  • Demonstrate flexibility, good timekeeping, and a positive team approach

What we are looking for

  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Some medical device or regulated industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with GMP environments desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Adaptable, reliable, and willing to support across functions
