Summary
The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer based in South Birmingham. This is an exciting temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced Paint Technician to join a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform painting activities in line with IATF 16949 quality standards.
- Inspect all parts before painting to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Clean, maintain, and adjust paint robots and application equipment.
- Apply primers, basecoats and clearcoats to required quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- 3-5 years' robotic painting experience (preferably within paint manufacturing or automotive).
- Strong understanding of paint application processes, defect identification, and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of production downtime escalation and quality standards.
- £15.50 per hour
- 22:00 - 06:00
- Sunday - Thursday
